Abstract

A binary word transmission system has a means of a data receiver and transmitter. The binary words are transmitted over a number of frequency channels. The transmitter and receiver each have a buffer memory. The receiver has supplementary detecting and receiving means lined to a frequency not included in the frequency bands of then n frequency channel. The gain control of the supplementary system is tied to the gain control of at least one of the n detection receiving means. The system has means of measuring the output signal of the supplementary detection and receiving means, and means for transmitting a feedback signal to the transmitter. The system uses a pilot timer and means for transmitting a synchronising signal.
