Abstract
Indicator waveguide reflects guided waves at specified points through the cover surface to the outside. It comprises scatter centres (34, 37, 39, 42, 43) in given areas of the waveguiding material. These centres scatter waves which are guided in the waveguide (30) partially to the outside. Material (34, 42) forming the scatter centres is embedded in the waveguiding material. The waveguide (30) is made of glass and in two areas (31, 32) particles (34) made of glass are embedded in the material of the waveguide. The glass particles (34) have a different refractive index than the material of the waveguide (30). Therefore, a light wave (35) inside the waveguide (30) is partially scattered to the outside (36).
