Abstract

The hydraulic distributor control unit has components allowing fluid under pressure to pass from one passage (P), to one of the other of two control passages (A, B) and the returning fluid to flow to a return passage (T) to the reservoir. No slide valve is used, but instead valves moving perpendicularly off their seats under the effect of the difference in pressure acting on their two faces are used. Valves with stems, or balls normally pressed against their seats and moved off them by pins at right angles to the seats and moving radially in relation to them may also be used as alternatives.
