Abstract

The body of the container is a truncated cone shape made from plastic material. The larger end is folded over inwards to form a seam with the base which also has a lip so that the two edges can interlock to form a seal. The top of the container consists of a collar with a thin circular section which fits inside the main body of the container. The sleeve is flanged at the top with a toroidal flange which butts up against the end of the main body part. The parts are assembled by means of suitable dies which force the body sleeve opened to take the ends.
