Abstract

The 'L' shaped insert (10) is for fixing the corner joints of picture frames. They have a continuous longitudinal central slot in the internal frae faces, and are mitred (C) to form the corner joints. the insert (10) is of resilient material and has lugs (14, 15) at each leg end. They have leg haunches (12) cross-section which fits snugly inside the member (4) section. The lug end may align with or project beyond the planes which extend from the internal faces of the haunch zones (12).
