Abstract

Hyperplasminaemia in mammals is controlled by administration of omega-aminoalkanesulphonic acids (I) of formula: H2N-(CH2)n-SO3H (where n is an integer 5). Cpds. (I) are fibrinolytic agents with activity equal ot greater than that of aminocaporic acid (II). Cpds. (I) may be prepd. by reacting dibromoalkanes with Na2SO3 and then with NH4OH.
