Abstract

The system for moudlign a semi-cylindrical foil microgrill (4) on an electric razor (1) obtains easier foil replacement. The two longitudinal linear edges of the foil are fixed between a flat plate (11) and an 'L' section plate (12, 13). The latter locates externally with the 'L' bar (12) turned in, and 'L' leg (12) is returned (14) inwardly square at the foil edge extremities. The 'L' bar (13) and the leg returns (14) are firmly wedged in place when the foil is installed, thus avoiding foil displacements during shaver use. The foil fits on a demountable head (3) with head integral hooks (15, 19) engaging slots (18) in the stiffened (11, 12) longitudinal edges of the foil. The hook geometry is such that when the razor is wholly assembled, the 'L' bar (13) is trapped between the underside of the hook end (19) and the top of the motor bed (17).
