Abstract

The key ring worn is on a belt, when the user does not have a handbag or wears clothes without pockets. The keyring consists of a hook (1) with parallel, unequal shanks (4, 5). The long shank (5) fits between the inner surface of a belt and the body. Shank (4) has an opening across which bridge (6) is provided. The bridge serves as a seating for a two-armed lever, fitted with an eyelet hooked into the keyring. The short lever arm, being slightly inclined to the longer arm, projects through the opening in shank (4) and blocks the gap between the two hook shanks To remove the keyring from the belt, the ring and the longer arm have to be lifted and rotated, until the shorter arm moves clear from the hook gap.
