Abstract

The mounting for machine housing comprises a group of parallel links (54) arranged at each side of the housing (1) between the housing and a base (3). The links lie in a horizontal plane and accommodate thermal or pressure movements of the housing in the direction of its horizontal axis (2). The links may be connected by pivots pins (5, 6). Alternatively, the links may be rigidly secured at their ends, the movement of the links being accommodated by bending. Each group of links may be mounted on a base plate on which a flange of the housing is slidable.
