Abstract

The connector block houses a number of female contacts. It is used to connect a telecommunications cable to electrical appts. via a further block with projecting connector pins. It has guide means (11) for the connectors, with parallel rectangular slots (14) receiving the ends of the ribbon conductors, each of which can be electrically connected to one row of pins of the further block. Each of the rectangular slots (14) has an opening, for allowing the end of the spring forming the female contact to be changed in position. The connector block also has means for fixing it to the further block with a space between them, for the connector wires for the connector pins.
