Abstract

The sports ground designed for a variety of sporting activites, for use in halls and in the open, ensures a prefabricated surface which does not cause injury. The sports ground is made by levelling a terrain on which are placed prefabricated frames of treated timber. These frames are separated by spacing bars. The frames are levelled by mortar and aligned accurately horizontally and parallel to each other. A concrete layer is placed between these frames for embedding spacers. The concrete is covered with plastics sheets and asbestor cement plates are bolted on the frame. These plates are painted with antiskid water repellant paint.
