Abstract

The machine for generating power consists of a large number of blades with each end attached to a chain or flexible belt (E). The belts or chains pass over to parallel rollers (A1, A2) mounted on bearings (B1, B2). Each blade presents the same uniform angle of incidence to the fluid flow so that each blade operates at the maximum efficiency. The power is transmitted from the lower roller (B2) by a belt drive to an electric generator (F). The idean can be developed by increasing the number of rollers and placing one roller at the edge of a polygonal prism. One endless belt with blades passes around all the rollers.
