Abstract
The modulation unit is inserted between a master and a slave unit, being particularly for use in a motor vehicle braking system. It has two separate chambers in a hollow body, one connected to the master and the other to the slave unit, and communicating with each other via a valve-controlled passage. One of the chambers is divided into two separate sections connected together via a calibrated port. The cross-section of this port varies with the pressure in te chamber section (26B) connected to the slave unit (14).
