Abstract

Caged roller with cross stays forming the roller outer cover used to loosen and/or distribute bulk goods capable of being poured on to a base. The cross stays are flattened when viewed in cross section and always take up an oblique position against the radius of the roller to which they are attached. The rollers cross stays are capable of being swivelled around their longitudinal axis, and there are devices permitting a swivel movement of the cross stays during rotation of the roller with in addition individual adjustment so that the position of each cross stay may be individually adjusted during movement of the roller.
