Abstract

The aerosol can cap has a cylindrical wall snapping into engagement with the top of the can, and there are a number of lips (6) on the wall (5) engaging with a shaped portion integral with the cam (1). These hold the cap in place, but the cap can be removed from the can by application of a predetermined amount of force. The lips can end in sharp internal edges, fitting under an annular section on the cam, typically that accommodating the valve (2), and can be of elastic material. They can be integral with the cap and of plastic.
