Abstract
The proximity fuse has an electronic circuit providing the proximity characteristic. The outer surface of the fuse has two or more peripheral strips (2, 3), of electrically conductive material, insulated from each other. At least one essential component of the electronic circuit has its ends connected to the strips. An electrical impulse can be transmitted through the strips destroying or radically modifying the essential component in question. The component concerned can be a diode or a transistor essential for the correct functioning of the circuit.
