Abstract

The tap has a body with a bottom inlet and a side outlet. The body has a smooth bore contg. a semi-elastic sleeve (2) which acts as a seal and controls the water flow. A hand operated top (3), screwed onto the body, operates the sleeve. Movement of the sleeve may be limited by a pin projecting into the bore and engaging the upper or lower parts of the tap top. The top and the sleeve may be formed integrally.
