Abstract

The cultivator chassis is fitted with rear wheels and handles for pushing. The drive motor in the front drives the rotor blades by means of a vertical chain (6) in a housing (15). This chain drives a sprocket (14) carried on an axle (24), equal portions protruding each side of the housing. Removable half sleeves (25) fit on each portion of shaft, and are pushed on and retained by driving pins (35) through the shaft. These co-operate with lugs (33, 34, 37, 38) inside each half sleeve. The blades (4) are fixed to annular conical rings which are spaced along. and welded onto, the half sleeves.
