Abstract

The step-by-step switching of a frequency-selective device, with a variable resonance frequency is, by the individual tone signals; a RESET signal is produced when the control signal is generated by an individual tone signal, is missing. Disturbing effects, which can be caused by very short individual tones of high voltage amplitude, can be avoided if, depending on each individual tone, another undelayed control signal is produced. This is used to limit the resonance voltage which may be generated in the frequency selective circuit (10). A voltage, derived from each single tone, controls the threshold unit (11) and is applied through a resistor (25) to the gate of a switching transistor (26). This sets the transistor to an internal resistance which limits the resonance frequency of the unit (10).
