Abstract

The title compsns. are new and opt. contain vitamin A and/or vitamin E. They may also contain antigens. A typical compsn. contains glycerol 30 g., propylene glycol 9.83 g., 'Tween 80' (RTM) 6.66 g., sorbic acid 0.18 g. vitamin A 0.33 g., Na3PO4/citrate buffer to pH 5, and water to 100 ml. Pref. ranges are 7.5-15% w/v of glycol, 30% w/v of glycerol, 5-15% w/v of polyoxyethylated fatty acids as surfactants, buffers to pH 4.5-6.5, a preservative such as sorbic acid, propyl gallate or lauryl gallate.
