Abstract

The stamping unit (1) has an H-shaped piece (7) attached to the lower region of the longitudinal frame (4). This piece turns about its attachment point (10) and has two rectangular side plates (7') spaced apart from one another and joined by a transverse bar (8). A pin (11) fixed near to the bottom of the side plates has several rectangular rotational bodies (12) pivoted on it. These are all associated with drive wheels and are separated from one another by thin partition walls (13). The bodies (12) support the band-mounted stamp types (19') in the stamping zones and are carried between the lower ends of the side plates.
