Abstract

Procedure for packing a load positioned on a support in a sheet of stretched or tensioned packing material by which teh sheet pulled off a single spool is used to cover the surface of the load and at least partly joining each other opposite vertical surfaces of the load and the support. The outer end of the sheet of the packing material pulled off the spool (2) is first pressed against the front surface (5a) of the support (5) and attached to it. There after the front vertical surface and the top surface and the rear surface of the load (4) is covered with the sheet of packing material. Subsequently the sheet is pressed on and attached to the rear surface (5b) of the support (5) and ultimately the sheet is cut through across behind its attachment to the rear surface (5b) to separate it from the sheet on the spool (2).
