Abstract

Members(1) are applied to the corners of an object(2) to protect them. The members are tubes made of a deformable material of which at least one longitudinal part has been turned inwardly. The tubes may be of cardboard. The inwardly turned part may extend over the full length of the tube or just over a median part, the end parts not being deformed. The four tubes may be held applied to the corners of an object by a tensioned belt or belts.
