Abstract

The disinfecting device, for a telephone handset, has a movable support for the handset and a device to clean and dry the handset. The distribution system fro the disinfectant has four wetting wicks projecting beyond the body in front of the microphone and loudspeaker. The handset support consists of a cap with two openings - one for the microphone cup and the other for the loudspeaker cup. The cap can slide on a container body and is returned to the same end position by a set of restoring springs. The cleaning and drying device consists of pads passing over the handset as the latter moves.
