Abstract

The mounting for a pipeline ramp has a tubular housing (7) which receives the end of the ramp, a locking assembly being used to hold the ramp in the housing. Clamps (19) prevent relative movement between the ramp and the pipeline (5). The tubular housing (7) is pivotal by a ram so that the angle of the descent of the pipeline is variable, the housing being movable between horizontal and steeply inclined positions.
