Abstract

Garment e.g. shirt, blouse, light jacket, etc. comprises an openable collar which is fixed at its lower edge along the upper edge of the body of the shirt, with a neck opening which is extended by an opening at the front of the body. When the collar is closed, its ends are crossed over. The garment also comprises two double-faced lapels each of which adjoins one side of the body opening and at least part of the lower edge of the collar as far as the end of the collar. Each lapel extends on both sides of a vertical axis passing through the point of intersection of the collar ends so that, when the neck is closed, the lapels are at least partially superimposed one upon the other, and when the neck is open, they are arranged symmetrically with respect to the vertical axis.
