Abstract

A thin walled plastic container for e.g. cream cheese, which exudes liquids after manufacture, container is cylindrical or conical and has a raised bottom boss in the centre. The boss is covered with a flat partition (6) which defines a chamber (7) bordered by the outside of the container, the base of the container (2) and the side of the raised boss. The main container chamber connects with the chamber (7) through a number of radial slots (4) in the side of the boss so that any liquid may drain to the chamber (7).
