Abstract

Each section consists of a wooden or plastic fillet (1) with a groove (11) along one long side and a tongue (12) along the other, the grooves and tongues of adjacent fillets interlocking for easy of assembly. To prevent sections from becoming detached, both the tongue and the groove are dovetailed. The upper face (13) of the fillet is drilled with holes (14) into which tufts of either synthetic or natural bristles are inserted. The brush section, when assembled with other sections, forms an artificial ski-run. Each individual section can easily be replaced without disturbing the surrounding sections, even when mounted on a support. The brush sections can be readily mass-produced at a relatively low cost and can be used on any type of ground.
