Abstract
The liquid to be sprayed is pressurised by a pump (1) feeding into a distributor valve (2) near the driver's seat. Part of the liquid is diverted into a circuit leading to two separate single-acting hydraulic cylinders (4) connected to the sprayer bars (7). These cylinders lower the bars, springs (4) being fitted and used to raise the bars when the hydraulic pressure is lifted by means of the hand-operated distributor valve. This valve also permits either or both bars to be operated. The remainder of the liquid passes to the nozzles. A spring-loaded, non-return valve (3) maintains pressure in the circuit.
