Abstract

The system is for production of stators for uni-spindle pumps from a tubular type semi-finished product by means of a clearing mandrel in the form of a twin entry spindle. The cleaning mandrel and the tubular semi finished product are pressed jointly through a former ring. At least one of the forming elements consists of a cleaning mandrel and a former ring given an additional rotary motion in order to help to prevent irregularities in the surface of the stator being formed by the pressing process.
