Abstract

Parent Patent describes a transfer which can be transferred to an article under heat and pressure to mark it, the transfer comprising e.g. dyed fibres, granules etc. embedded in a reticulable resin. The improvement comprises incorporating the colourant, particularly black or white in the resin. The colourant is a lacquer or pigment. The transfer is used for decorating or marking textiles, leather, glass, cardboard, plastic. The transfer can be transferred in an alkaline, acid, or neutral environment under temps. of 200 degrees C. without discolouration.
