Abstract

Assembly which can be used as a clothes drier or a steam press can be arranged within an enclosure of low vol. in the form of a suitcase of which the lid and the base may be separated after opening, the lid being fixed to the wall and the base resting on the ground beneath it. The lid may contain a rod assembly for receiving the garments to be dried, and openings for circulation of air which can be closed by a rectangular plate when the assembly is to be used as a steam press. The base may contain a heating element. The lid and base may be connected to each other by a flexible annular sealing enclosure which unfolds when the two elements are separated. When the ventilation openings are blocked for use as a steam press, a toroidal dish contg. water is placed around the heating element in the base.
