Abstract

Support for foam absorber for electromagnetic wages is provided by winding around a mandrel >=1 threads which are impregnated with a thermosetting or thermoplastic material, pref. one having a relative dielectric constant of 6 e.g. unsatd. polyester resin epoxy resin with curing agent or synthetic thermoplastic resin. The manner of winding provides the support with apertures, pref. of rhomboid shape. The support is pref. in the shape of a pyramid of which the edges are reinforced by rod-like members around which the threads are wound.
