Abstract

A cooker especially for comping, has in a top plate (1) on which the food is cooked, four rods (3, 8) projecting downwards and fitted with spacer sleeves (7). Between each set of spacers is a flanged disc (6), a number of these being spaced along the rods to form a column. A bottom plate (9) is fitted and tightened to hold the assembly together as a unit. A cone shaped hole is provided through the column by disc apertures decreasing in diameter upwards. When the unit is placed on top of a heat source, this heat is conducted upwards and intensified under the food.
