Abstract

Ga oxide is recovered from an alkali metal aluminate soln. contg. dissolved Ga by adding an acid to co-ppt. Al2O3 and part of the Ga oxide and continuing to circulate the co-ppts. through the soln. for at least 15 hrs., pref. at least 30 hrs., so that additional Ga oxide is ppted.
