Abstract

Alarm transmission system of the type which has one or several detectors installed in the zone to be protected, which give predetermined electrical alarm signals on detection of some abnormality. An automatic transmitter being connected to the detectors, which, at the time of reception of an alarm signal, establishes telephonic communication with a central surveillance unit which identifies and localises the alarm. The transmitter is associated with an alarm pulse signal generator which produces at predetermined time intervals special simulated alarm signals, a recording device automatically records each telephonic call pulse produced by the transmitter. The alarm pulse generator consists of a clock having an hour wheel carrying adjustable cams which cooperate with a normally open contact and an electrical circuit for applying the alarm signals to the input of the transmitter.
