Abstract

The burner liquid fuel feed equipment is particularly for low-grade petroleum products, and incorporates a decantation sump (18) supplied from a storage tank, and in which the fuel is maintained at pour point temperature. A storage sump (26) accommodates the fuel from which the impurities have been filtered out after passage through the decantation sump. A pump (12) delivers fuel to the latter from the storage tank, being so controlled as to keep the level in the sump constant, whatever the demands of the burner (32), which is supplied from the storage sump.
