Abstract

The cable arrangement and self-operating cable clamp is for lifting devices, especially for drive pulley conveying systems, where the cable arrangement and the cable clamp are assembled from a lifting cable and a counterweight cable. There is a conveying basket at the two ends of the lifting cable which is passed in the grooves of the pulley or lifting drum and the cable deflector elements. The counterweight cable is suspended on the base of each conveyor basket. The lifting cable (3) is a flat cable and on both ends are suspended the conveying baskets, each with a wedge (7) which has a coating (9) of a material of large friction factor and with a self-operating cable clamp (5) in the form of a housing. The wedge angle is between 15 deg. and 30 deg..
