Abstract

The packing machine has a horizontal revolving table (2) fitted with five operating stations (4), each station consisting of a mould capable of containing the object being wrapped. As the table rotates, each station is brought into operation in sequence. A sheet of thermoplastic material is placed over the mould and formed into the container. The article is then placed in the formed container which is sealed and removed from the mould. Each station has a vertical tube (17) which may register with a vertically movable tube (18) for supplying compressed air to the moulds to eject the containers.
