Abstract

The container for potted plants consists of a series of inner parts contg. the soil and plants, surrounded by a double wall. The space between the walls is filled with water for the plants, and the inner container is separated into compartments for individual plants which are connected to the water supply through filter elements which allow the water to trickle through into the compartments at a very slow rate. The surface area of these elements can be varyed so that the water supply to any one plant can be individually adjusted according to the needs of the plant.
