Abstract

The button has a base (10) which is attached to a garment in the conventional manner and a cap (11) which is screwed or push fitted onto the base. The caps can have cavities which contain a solid-semi-liquid, or gelled perfume, with the cap permitting the perfume to escape. The cap is typically fitted to a base using male (13) and female (14) parts. The base may be secured to a garment by using an apertured extension which allows the button to be passed through a buttonhole.
