Abstract

The boiled egg top remover comprises an egg holder which consists of an upper part and a smaller lower part, the latter supporting the egg whilst the upper part has a cutting blade set firmly against the egg by means of the upper part. The upper and lower parts are both provided with threads so that they can be screwed together and hold the egg secure before the top is cut off. The top of the egg protrudes from the opening in the upper part of the holder. Since the egg is held firm by the holder a clean cut can be obtained without danger of the shell cracking.
