Abstract

A lower frame (10) comprises four corner posts (16) joined by side (20) and end (21) tubes or profiles to form a rectangle, a spacer (15, 24) also being provided. The ends are H shaped frames (11) fitting into the corner posts using peg and socket joints, and upper frame being fitted on top. Extensions are made end-wise by a modified lower frame having one end tube replaced by a folded sheet metal channel (23) hooking over an adjacent end tube. Lengthwise extensions are made by using link bars to hold the corner posts of adjacent frames together, these link bars comprising sockets welded each end of a tube.
