Abstract

The watch strap comprises a band forming a parallel-piped block with semi-circular grooves in its lateral faces an axle element with diametrical plate extension and trunnion ends, a trunnion cap and a split sleeve. To unite two blocks a sleeve is welded to the primary block and a trunnion cap is placed. The axle element is installed with a second trunnion cap and finally the projecting plate is inserted and locked in the succeeding block. Pref. the sleeve is split after fixing to the block, the axle element being formed from a contiguous key hole sectioned member with the plate cut away terminally to free the axle ends and permit their step reduction is dia. The trunnion caps are blind sleeves.
