Abstract

The system comprises an overhead rail system from which are suspended the display cases etc. Points permit movement of a case to any point of the assembly. The points can be electrically or mechanically operated. Electric supply to lamps and suspension carriages is by friction contact, using single suspension ball joints. Each case is suspended by a single support made in two parts hung beneath a wheeled carriage running on the rails. The carriage and support are constructed and insulated to suit the electrical wiring.
