Abstract

The trolley consists of a frame of two longitudinal members and a cross member supported on three wheels, with two parallel wheels rolling on the sides of a launching dock. The trolley is fitted with four vertical masts which pivot about base support brackets. The masts may be inclined to the vertical means of an adjusting bracket located between the members. Fore and aft support slings are attached to the tops of fore and aft pairs of masts. By varying the angle of each pair of masts it is possible to ensure that the pull on the slings is normal to the boat hull profile, thus making slipping impossible.
