Abstract

Plastic tubing is cut up using a roller with one cutting edge to engage the tubing surface until part is cut off, the roller rotating round the work, and a second roller with V-section which is pressed on to the cut edge to smooth it off. Process produces no chips, dust, or flash end is quiet.
