Abstract

A hand trolley has its load carrying platform raised and lowered by a hydraulic cylinder at the front, interconnected with the platform by a linkage. A supply pump for the cylinder is mounted ahed of the cylinder, at the base (11) of the vertical control shaft, the pump piston (14) having an upper hollow part receiving a polyurethane sleeve (22) acting as a return spring. The piston has a lower block (15) on which is eccentrically mounted a pivot spindle (17) supported by the side walls (7) of the base. The oscillation of this piston is absorbed by a pair of spaced sealing rings (18, 19) mounted round it in grooves in the wall of the control shaft (11).
