Abstract

The caravan has a trailer chassis, with two or more wheels, on which a rigid lower housing is mounted. One or more covers pivot on the housing unfolding outwards into a horizontal position so as to rest on the grund by means of a support foot. A tent canopy is fixed to the cover edges, and arches maintain it in the extended position and taut, being connected to the housing near the cover pivot point. The support (17) on which the arch ends pivot itself pivots on the end of a double armed lever (18) on which a sleeve (30) slides. The sleeve is attached to a link (20) itself pivoting on the housing (6)or the cover (8). The other end of the lever (18) pivots at a point on the inside of the cover, near the free edge of the latter.
