Abstract

The output current which actuates the alarm during a predetermined period is obtained by means of a capacitor whose charge time constant is low and whose discharge time constant is long. The capacitor is associated with a level detector which is conducting when the voltage at the terminals of the capacitor is greater than the detector level. A delay before alarm actuation to allow a person to neutralize the system is produced by a comparator only delivering a current after a capacitor charging, the capacitor being charged slowly through a high value resistor and a further capacitor which is rapidly charged.
